– Past students feedback –
CDS serves as a platform providing the exposure to the every aspect of career development – Peer and Mentor Network Event, Resume Critique and Interview Guidance. All the sessions were very informative and mentors made tremendous effort to make sure mentees could make the best out of the CDS program.

CDS class helps me to gain a better understandings of the importance of networking and networking skills. With the help of mentors in CDS, I realized my advantages and disadvantages, enabling me to have a clear target for my career development. Resume critique and mock interview classes provide me a good chance to know how to catch HR’s attention when they take a glance at my resume and when I have an interview with them.
– Felix, Junior Financial Analyst, BMO
“The most important thing that CDS has taught me was Career Planning. To create a suitable career plan should be the first step and the most important step that anyone has to take before they start looking for jobs. From my personal experience, career planning helped me to develop the necessary skills and network which eventually landed the job that I want.”
– Ray Yang, Sales and Trading Summer Program, Scotiabank
My mentors at NHC are very knowledgeable and experienced as well as open to sharing their journey of employment seeking. They understand what I was going through because they have been there themselves. This was all too valuable for me to fuel up and recover from the frustration during hardship.
