As Managing Director at the Bank of China, Zubair Mumtaz will share his story and thoughts. Zubair has 20 years of corporate banking experience gained from working in the back-office, middle-office and front offices at some of the largest banks in the world. Both aspiring recent graduates and corporate bankers looking to advance their careers will benefit tremendously from Zubair’s in-depth banking knowledge and industry expertise.
Zubair earned his MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University with a specialization in Finance and Global Mining Management. Currently Zubair is working as Managing Director at Bank of China. Prior to joining BOC, Zubair served as Director & Business Development Lead, Syndicated Finance at Business Development Bank of Canada. Zubair also worked as Vice President at Raymond James, where he successfully managed one of the most diverse portfolios totalling commitments of over $600MM.
